Shane, your father was a fine man and a wonderful mentor to me when I worked for Navajo. Your father was very proud of you and talked of you often at work. And above all, he raised you well because you are a morally good person. Your father will be missed. God Bless you and your family. Brenda Donaghe

It is with sadness that I learn of the passing of Max Baker. He and his family were some of the first people I met upon my return to Artesia, after almost a lifetime away from the area , and they have never failed to extend a hand of friendship and kindness to me. My deepest condolences go out to his family upon on this great loss that has come upon their lives, and may they take some measure of joy in this time of sorrow , by knowing that he has gone on to a far better place, than that which he has left, and that one day they will join with him again , in that land that knows no tears nor sorrow nor pain—Until that day ,my wish for each of them is that , may God hold each of them in the comfort and safety of his loving hand , and ease the pains of this loss in their lives.
